Community-Specific Products

The Research-to-Policy Collaboration (RPC) has worked with policymakers to identify legislative issues affecting specific communities including those living in rural areas, immigrant and refugee populations, native-tribal communities, BIPOC communities, and homeless populations. In response to legislative requests, we reached out to our network of researchers, compiled evidence, and developed briefs and fact sheets on the following topics: 1) Summarized research on the treatment and prevention of substance use disorders in rural communities, 2) Compiled research and provided specific recommendations for diabetes programs in Tribal communities, 3) The effects and unique considerations of COVID-19 on homeless populations, and 4) Compiled research on trauma-based interventions supporting migrant children who have been separated from their families.
